A students’ dialogue session was conducted at Gerado to provide young people with a safe and participatory platform to discuss issues affecting their lives, education, safety, and well-being.
The session encouraged students to openly share their experiences, concerns, and ideas and to engage in constructive discussions with their peers. Key issues related to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), prevention, protection, and access to support services were highlighted during the dialogue.
The discussion also emphasized the importance of creating a safe and supportive school and community environment where students can speak openly, seek help when needed, and support one another.
The dialogue contributed to strengthening students’ awareness, confidence, and active participation in addressing challenges affecting their communities while promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, safety, and violence prevention.
