Save Your Generation Ethiopia (SYGE) welcomed new members from the Degan China Camp Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) community and local high school students in Kombolcha.
The new membership initiative aims to encourage young people and members of the displaced community to actively participate in community-based activities, awareness initiatives, and programs that promote the rights, safety, and well-being of vulnerable groups.
The involvement of IDP community members and high school students provides an important opportunity to strengthen youth participation, leadership, peer engagement, and community dialogue. Through their active involvement, the new members can contribute their ideas, experiences, and skills to addressing challenges affecting their communities.
SYGE looks forward to working together with the new members from Degan to promote meaningful youth engagement, strengthen community participation, and support initiatives that contribute to safer, more inclusive, and resilient communities.
