Addis Ababa — June 30–July 2, 2022: Save Your Generation Ethiopia (SYGE) participated in the Civil Society Organization (CSO) Week Exhibition, held at Hilton Hotel in Addis Ababa from June 30 to July 2, 2022.
The exhibition provided an important platform for SYGE to showcase its programs, achievements, experiences, and community-based interventions to fellow civil society organizations, government representatives, development partners, and members of the public.
During the exhibition, SYGE presented information about its work in areas including Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) prevention and response, youth empowerment, community awareness, and protection initiatives. The event also created opportunities for participants to learn about SYGE’s approaches and engage in discussions around key social and development issues.
Participation in the CSO Week Exhibition strengthened SYGE’s visibility and provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and lessons with other civil society actors. It also promoted networking, collaboration, and the sharing of good practices that can contribute to more effective community-based interventions.
The exhibition demonstrated the important role of civil society organizations in addressing social challenges and promoting community well-being. Through its participation, SYGE reaffirmed its commitment to working with partners and stakeholders to advance sustainable and inclusive development.
