Addis Ababa — In 2021, Save Your Generation Ethiopia (SYGE) conducted a joint supportive supervision visit with key stakeholders as part of efforts to strengthen the implementation, monitoring, and quality of activities under its Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) project.
The joint supervision brought together SYGE and relevant stakeholders to review project progress, assess the implementation of planned activities, identify challenges, and provide technical guidance to improve the quality and effectiveness of interventions.
During the supervision, stakeholders engaged in constructive discussions with project teams and relevant community actors. The exercise provided an opportunity to review achievements, identify implementation gaps, share experiences, and provide recommendations for strengthening ongoing activities.
The collaborative approach also helped promote coordination and shared responsibility among participating institutions. Stakeholders discussed follow-up actions and areas for continued collaboration to ensure that project interventions remained responsive to the needs of target communities.
The joint supportive supervision demonstrated the importance of regular monitoring and stakeholder engagement in achieving sustainable project results. The feedback and recommendations generated through the exercise provided valuable direction for improving implementation and strengthening future SGBV prevention and response activities.
