Save Your Generation Ethiopia (SYGE), an NGO committed to promoting the wellbeing and empowerment of young people, conducted a dialogue and substance abuse prevention training at Dandi Boru.
The activity created an open and participatory space for young people to discuss the risks and consequences of drug and substance abuse. Participants explored common factors that can contribute to substance use, including peer pressure, negative social influences, and challenges faced by young people.
The training also emphasized prevention, positive decision-making, effective communication, and the importance of seeking support from trusted adults and community members. Through dialogue and interactive learning, participants were encouraged to share experiences and identify practical ways to prevent substance abuse among their peers.
The activity reflects SYGE’s continued commitment to raising awareness, strengthening life skills, and supporting young people to make healthy and responsible choices.
