Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — Save Your Generation Ethiopia (SYGE), an NGO working to promote the wellbeing and safety of children and young people, handed over an infrared thermometer to Sefere Selam Primary School as part of its efforts to support a safer and healthier school environment.
The handover is intended to strengthen the school’s capacity to monitor students’ temperatures and support early identification of individuals who may require further health attention. The non-contact thermometer provides a convenient tool for routine temperature screening within the school setting.
School representatives expressed their appreciation for SYGE’s continued support and commitment to improving health and safety measures in schools.
Through initiatives such as the provision of essential health equipment, SYGE continues to work with schools and communities to promote child protection, health awareness, and safe learning environments.
