As part of the project’s COVID-19 prevention and response activities, thermometers were provided to targeted schools to support the early identification of possible COVID-19 symptoms and help reduce the risk of transmission within school environments.
The provision of thermometers was an important preventive measure designed to strengthen schools’ capacity to monitor students and staff, promote timely identification of potential cases, and support appropriate health and safety measures.
This intervention complemented other COVID-19 prevention activities, including community awareness, health education, and the distribution of face masks, contributing to safer learning environments for students, teachers, and school communities.
